is there a way i can test to see if my oil injection is working properly? i'm really wanting to hook it back up since everything appears to be there. i just want to make sure it works properly first before i take a chance. i've been having problems with it starting and i think it's because the plugs are fouling out because it has to much oil. any help or info is appreciated. thanks.

take gander at "notch" on pump and outer plate, they should be lined up. If they are, than you may have bigger issues...inner seals.

was referring to, since you said it was dump'dm alot of oil in(ful'n plugs), then i suspect it may not been the pump, but the seals on crankshaft..

ahh i got you. no i think i'm mixing it to rich honestly. the motor was a new long block so i think everything is ok there. i'm just not sure where all tubes go from the oil tank and then to the pump and from there i'm kind of puzzled.
