Hi guys I bought a 96 Sportster at the end of last summer and now thinking of cleaning it up a bit. Engine and pump were professionally rebuilt with no hours on it before I bought it so that's out of the way. I put in a stereo and second battery in when I got it and now I want to make it look as good as it runs. I'm planning on dying all my Teal plastics Black such as the Rub rail, handles, steering wheel and storage cover. I started taking the storage cover off but notice that I'm having trouble removing the Tach Gauge. In the manual it shows I should have a Gasket and a Gauge Nut but my boat doesn't, I'm guessing that it must be glued on or something because it won't budge. I can probably just cut the Support Gauge to get it out but I can't seem to source the replacement parts, they appear to be discontinued. So I just wanted to see if any of you guys had any suggestions for me. Perhaps theres some aftermarket Support Gauge, Gasket and Gauge Nut that will fit. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.
