Okay folks! I've done industry espionage by playing dumb (because for this subject I AM lol) with several suppliers and finally covertly coerced them into spilling the beans! No more paying $350+ for our "hidden" impeller part number!

It would appear as if all of the following:

Use a Solas SR-CD-10/18! I was able to verify with an official Sea Doo exploded view, and lots of research on the web, that the OEM wear ring (PN: 267000419) is indeed 155.5mm!

I was able to get the impeller AND a STEEL wear ring for less than what Impros wanted for JUST THE IMPELLER!!!

WOOHOO!

The first time your do this, you should also replace the bearing and seal on the pump. That way you know what you have. It's not that much more to do. Less then $100 for the parts. I have 4-tec SCIC and the rebuild kit is like $60 for after market. Just something to consider.

Makes sense to start with a clean slate. I figured at 11.5 hrs those should be good but who knows. Thanks!

UPDATE!

I contacted Solas just to make sure and they said I needed the "A" version of the impeller.

I sent them a reply asking what the difference is between the two. I'll post when I know!
