I havent used my boat in about 2 weeks . I was putting some lifejackets up over the weekend and noticed that my engine was wet all over. Why would it be doing this just sitting out in my yard?

Could it be hot and tired it has been hot lately just kiding I am sure someone will have a more logical answer as I have none on this issue.

Reason is that with the sun deck closed it builds up condensation from the temperature change. Leave the sun deck open slightly to allow it to vent...The engine will stay dry.

Any water left in the bilge (and there may be some below the motor even if you don't see it) will evaporate and recondense on anything that gets cold including your motor. Even if there isn't any water in the bilge just the cold/warm cycles of night/day will cause water to condense on your motor (but water left in the bilge with a warm engine will do this all the time).
