Supercharger washers

So what are the signs of the washers going bad? Loss of rpms? I have one motor that seems to lose a little rpms but it is about 3000 mark it bobs dwn 100 0r 200 sometimes. Seems fine wot just a lower rpms. Seems to run fine other than that.That normal? I know replace them anyway!

Typically, when the washer's start to fail the top rpm's drop to about 6500 rpms. Pull the intake hose off and see if you can turn the blades with your fingers...you shouldn't be able to. If you getting close to 100 hours of use, it might be replacement time also. I have seen the washers go south in as little as 16 hours.
