Anyone know about this oem bearing spacer that is incorrectly machined? I see pwc muscle sells a properly machined one because of this. I just bought a kit and mine is not right. My question is why can’t I use the old spacer?
He says not to reuse the black spacer but mine isn’t that old. The old one appears to be identical but it fits the shaft better and it has one groove while the new one has two grooves.
The first picture is of the old one. It goes on the shaft smoothly. The second picture is the new set up and will only go on the shaft as far as it’s shown in picture three.
