Hi there,

I wanted to save on paying for my boat to be summerized this year, as I believe it isn't a huge job as out last service was the first 10 hour service of the boat as well as it being winterised.

Can anyone advise on what would need to be done to get it running for the coming season, or whether I should just return and pay out to my seadoo dealer.

Thanks for any advise.

J

Make sure the battery is charged, top off all fluids, fire it up and go play. There really isnt anything to "summerize". Just a way for the dealer to take your hard earned money.

If you've already had the oil and plugs changed, then there's nothing else to do. Like Foster said, just check fluids and battery and go drive it

Apart from the oil, which other fluids should I be checking?

Thanks

J

Make sure the coolant is full and more importantly the gas. This will be my first year with a 4 stroke, so if i come up with anything else ill let ya know. On my old 2 stroke i always changed the pump oil and spark plugs when i put it away for the winter. That way it was ready to go when i got it out in the spring.
