Guys,
So after changing the exhaust hose and finding that the water regulator spring was missing (purchased new), I took it out for a test run. Guess what, the water intake hose fitting blew. I couldn't believe how much water came in the engine compartment. I trailered the boat, went to Lowe's, found an identical size brass fitting, replaced the broken one and headed back to the lake.
All I can say is thank you to everyone who helped me. We played on it for 2.5 hours, knee boarded, tubed etc. I couldn't believe the speeds we accomplished. My GPS pegged 52 mph and she never backed down. It was what I was looking to accomplish all summer!!
Thanks again for all the help guys!!!!!
