Stuck in Forward.... Cable adjustment?????

My boats sticks in forward, the only why to get it out of forward is to have someone pick up on the gate then it will come out and into neutral, and the grate isnt going up all the way when put into forward. Im guessing it's a cable ajustment???

It could be an adjustment or something is bent. Have someone operate the controls and look it over while it is being shifted.
