Both of my 06 SeaDoo RXP’s have developed fiberglass stress fractures on the right rear corner. The problem area on both machines is in the exact same spot, looks exactly the same, and developed at the exact same time. I bought them new in Feb, 07 and have a three year warranty for both machines. When I took the machines into the dealer they agreed and thought that the stress fractures were a defect and therefore SeaDoo should value my three year warranty and fix the fiberglass on both machines. But SeaDoo’s customer service is clamming that the stress fractures are from operator error. Furthermore, SeaDoo has not even sent a representative out to the dealer to look at the stress fractures in person! I don’t understand how “operator error” could cause the fiberglass stress fractures on both machines in exactly the same spot. I mean the machines have 215 hp so they can move, but I guess SeaDoo can’t build them to last? Any one else experience a problem like this?
