so i was on my way home from college because i found a guy that would work on my seadoo for cheap. I was going to get it running perfectly so i would be ready for some riding this spring. well i was towing it home and i was stopped behind a school bus. then.... BAM. i get rear ended by a big ford f-150. seadoo took all the impact and my truck was fine. but yeah i made that 5 hour drive to get it running perfectly and now my seadoo and trailer are mangled and not running. im hoping this works out good for me with insurance and stuff.

if something like this has happened to you, share with me what happens with insurance. do you think i will benefit from this? my jet propulsion system took all the impact and im not too sure whats all broken yet. my trailer is totaled but the body of my ski looks fine. just the black jet nossle part got hit and the VTS arm broke in half. something else could be messed up in the propulsion system since it got hit at like 40 mph but i had to leave it at home and went back to college without it so i cant really do much with it. i guess my dad is taking care of it with insurance.

Usually you have a deductible but getting hit from behind usually means the driver hitting is at fault. You'll have to see the insurance company says to be real sure. As for the damage it might just be the nozzle and attaching bolts and possibly the steering cable. Have a seadoo dealer check it out to get an accurate idea of what is damaged. Good luck with it. The other drivers insurance should pay if he is insured.
