Stomp grate for 15 sportster 2005

i was wonderingif anyone knows if the 4tec motor and the merc share the same jet drive system. need to get rid of seaweed from intake without jumping in water anyone have solution i found a company ( wife found) and they make one for the merc sport jet so if there the same i'm in buisness
