well i cleaned the carbs out as well as possible, ( didnt have a full rebuild kit) i installed new 145 mains, and 70 pilots ( couldnt get 140, and 75) turned LSA out 1 turn , and HSA 1/4. The motor has 140 comp on both, has a APE pipe as well as an rev box in the ecu box. here is the deal, when i give ti gas it jsut gradually starts to get out of the water... my cousins xp if you hit it it gets up and jsut moves out, mine jsut gradually starts gets up to about 25-30mph. From that point it jsut stays, it seems like it doesnt want to transition from the lsa to the hsa.....i have to sit their and play with the throttle to get it to break past that dead spot, and even when i do get it into the High speed jet its only for a few seconds and than sputters back down... So i played with the lsa and hsa a bit more( like 10 stops to adjust, checking plugs each time) the best i got it running was at 1 3/4 out on lsa and 1/2 turn out on hsa,plugs are still a bit rich though think i fouled one out towards the end. any way with this setup i was able to get it going alright out of a stop to about 30mph, and if i gave it WOT for a sec it would transition into the High speed jet and if i let off the to about 3/4 throttle the thing would scream but i could still hear it back firing. heres the part that keeps confusing me when i am going at top speed so to say it will only be from anywhere like 30 seconds longest was about 2 minutes and then just dies like a fuel cut and shuts down? wtf some one please tell me what i need to do to keep get this thing to transition between the 2 jets and get it to stop cuttin out at wot!
