I am a newbie to this forum and a new boat owner as well. I could use some assistance on the following items: The white floor (always gets dirty) and upgrading the stereo. I saw hydroturf would be a solution for the floor? i looked on the PWC muscle and it didnt look like they have my year/model? Also I would like pics/advice on upgrading the stereo. I am thinking about adding component speakers and 2 10" subs with amps. What locations work best for amps and speakers? Also, how long would the battery last? Need two batteries? thanks!

Hydroturf is certainly your answer for the floor. Go with a dark grey. I got a light grey & I like it, but darker would be a little better for hiding dirt marks IMO. I have to believe that they have a kit for you. I would call them up & make sure you are a member here, you get a discount!

Dark gray as opposed to black? I was thinking black to match the boat since it is black/red. what pattern would you recommend?

I would guess the 2010 model would be the same as yours. Call and ask. Black or Dark grey would look best. Call them and ask for samples of the color and textures you prefer, they send them free. The pattern is just personal choice. I like the dark grey molded diamond and have been very happy.

There are few others with the 150 who have done audio systems. Look for the member fearthisinc he did a similar project. He has a whole thread on it with nice pics.

Either dark grey or black would be good. I agree, ask them for some samples. They are small, but they give you a decent idea of the surface texture. I went with molded diamond style and am very happy with that. I think they said that it is the most durable of the styles. I chose light grey because I didn't want to darken the interior up too much, but a little additional dirt hiding capability would have been welcome in my case. Good luck with it, and make sure you order it with the 3M backing already installed.

Unless you are going for "rock the boat" sound, I would suggest upgrading your sound system piecemeal. In my case, I found that just upgrading the stock speakers to Polk Audio MM651's made a big difference in sound output and quality. I've got another pair on order to add to the front. I suspect that will be good enough for my needs, but if necessary, I can add a sub. The stock head unit supports 4 speakers and pre-amp outputs for a sub. It's actually pretty decent for power, it's hindered mostly by the stock speakers. If you want that boom-boom-boom type of output (maybe you're looking to stun the fish with the shockwaves? ;) ), you could upgrade the head unit after doing the other things if it still wasn't enough.

I think dark gray would be the best idea to matching my interior as well. If that wasn't look good after that I prefer to some designs, So it looks really very good on the dark color.

Mr clean magic eraser is the only thing I have found that will clean the floor. You can make it look brand new in 30 min and 4 erasers. I was going to hydroturf until I found the magic erasers.

Don't know why the word hydroturf links to a place to buy it. That's F'ed up.

Add the turf and you wont have to scrub the floor again. It really is the best mod. Not only does it keep the floor clean and looking good, its nice on the feet.

Do you have to clean around all of the edges of the turf though? It would feel nicer than the bare floor. It is impossible to keep clean all the time.

I use my pressure washer. Since there are no scuffs anymore, everything else just rinses. The 3M backing keeps the turf down even when washed. It's teh way to go for sure.

I never have issues with dirt around the edges. I just use a car wash type brush to wash the whole boat inside and out. Rinse and its good to go.
