Trying to figure out a minor problem. 99 Challenger 1800 twin. When I turn the steering all the way to one side the engine adds some extra revs to help turn. When I turn it to the other side there is no additional revs. Any suggestions where to start looking?

Pretty sure you should look inside the helm where the Port/Starboard throttle cable splitter extensions connect to the steering box, I think that's where the adjustment is. For the twin, I think left engine gets a kick on right lock-limit and vice-versa? Maybe both get the kick, not sure.....

Item #14 on this drawing is the connection location.

X2 on Sportster. Steering assist is probably out of adjustment. My will do it on both engines.

I'll take a look and see. I quickly looked behind the storage bin while getting out the anchor but will dig into it deeper to see what is out of adjustment.
