Just go a new speedster and there is allot of play in the steering wheel. Is there a adjustment to take this out. Has anyone else incountered this issue?

My Utopia has a decent amount of play. I think that's mostly because jet pumps aren't the most precise steering systems in boating and is normal. You can adjust the steering, but probably won't be able to adjust the play out of it. If its new and bad, let the dealer know and see if they can help you out.

steering issue

Tarheelracer,
thanks for the response, sounds like good advice and will give that a try. Forbeing a new boat it just seems to have a bunch of play in the steering that I will have at. I just thought if there was something i could adjust I would do it instead of yangiing it out of the water.
Thanks Dude

1. Dont keep the boat in the water for extended pieriods of time...
2. If this is a new boat the steering and throttle cable do stretch and will need ajustments every X number of hr's.
3. Jet boats have VERY persice steering thats what makes these boat so much fun to drive. Mine has ZERO play in the steering.
