steering problem

Hi -
I've got a 2004 GTX that I used for the first time this year. The steering is really tight. The handlebars will turn fully to both the left & right however it does not turn easily as it should. It feels as if something needs to be greased. Any thoughts? Thanks

spray some PB-Blaster, at both ends of steering cable. Let sit up for day or 2, if still tight, need new cable, or remove cable and spray some more, allow'n gravity to take effect.
