Hey all. Sorry if this is something that has been discussed but I haven’t been able to find an answer. I have a 2004 seadoo gtx supercharged. I had a seized up steering cable and a broken cable lock both of which i replaced. My question is, are zip ties the only thing keeping the steering cable from moving inside the hull? I get the handlebars and nozzle aligned but when I take it out on the water the cable moves inside the hull causing it to mis-align and not turn left while accelerating. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

It’s fixed. Decided to re-start from the beginning and found the issue. . I must have improperly placed the half rings on the steering cable allowing it to slide back and forth. All good. Thanks.
