stator damage

Upon inspection after ingesting a 1" dia. stick through our 03' 4-TEC Sportster I discovered , among other things, that some of the stator vanes are damaged on the leading edges. A few of them have 1/2" divits cut in the leading edge. I filed these smooth as best I could and am wondering if this will cause much decrease in performance. Thanks

if you were building a pump for racing... I'd say to replace it... but for play... you will be fine, and probably not feel any performance loss.
