Starting problems with 720

i have a sea doo 720 i've never used it coz there is some thing wrong with it i've had the engine out twice but still not starting it turns over and some time starts but stops after a few seconds can any one help me please thanks

wez...did you ever remove the RV plate?, also, check to see if theres spark, lay plug up on motor, then bump the button, is grey fuel lines in ski?, did rebuild on carbs?, also check compression...
