starter wont turn over

pulling my hair out any feed back will help just pulled my 04 gtx4-tec out of shop did not use much the last couple of years been really good at maintenance put battery in and tried to start it got a clicking noise ok battery dead wont take a charge put new battery in with a good charge still clicking noise all fuseses are good

jump the relay, and inspect the cable from relay to starter

checked cables they are good how do i jump the relay and where is the relay

follow the red cables to an electrical box, open up, and see where they attach to. Jump those 2-post w/ heavy gauge wire/screwdriver

ok i did that and starter worked does that mean relay is bad

..you got it, stud. ONLY if cables are clean, non corroded at terminals, and no breaks under the heatshrink. Replaced mine, only to find cable was broke.

thanks man what causes that to go out i only have 45 hours on it
