Starter Wont Engage Full Battery Power Yet Voltage Drop At Starter Relay

1999 Gsx Rfi,
I Took The Ski Out Yesterday It Ran Fine But Cut Out On The Water
When I Got It Home The Starter Motor Wouldnt Engage, It Had No Voltage At The Starter Motor Side Of The Relay And The Ski Wont Start. The Engine Is Not Cranking Over ,its Just Been Rebuilt So I Know It Isn't The Engine . Is This Common ? Can Any One Shed Some Light?

You need to check if your starter solenoid is working correctly. First, check you have voltage going into the relay side of the solenoid. Unplug the connector and put your volt meter on the leads. You should get 12v when you press the start button. If not, check fuses. If so, and no voltage is going to the starter, replace the solenoid. Let us know how this test goes.
