start hard in water

my 89 SP580 starts hard in water. I checked compression and it is 130lb. Could this be my problem?

your compression is good, check volts at battery, before and after starting...

Also check spark plugs and spark plug wires and boots.

Hi, everytime must start by dry on the trailer before You take to water to jet, after this procedure will start easy on water too
