I have a 97' SeaDoo Challenger 1800 and the engines have been hard to start lately and getting harder. Today we were cruising along and we slowed down briefly to grab somones hat out of the water. I then pushed the throttles forward and the starboard engine would not go above 4800 rpms. We slowed down again and then the starboard engine died. I tried to get the engine to re-start but it would not. We started heading back on just one engine so i decided to try and get the oether engine to start. I eventually did get it started but it ran like crap, would not go over 4800 rpms and if you pulled the throttle lever back the engine would just die? Any suggestions would be greatly apperciated! I tried new plugs with no help.
