spx no fire

hello im new to this so please bear with me. i have recently bought a 97 spx that has been settin up for almost two years. the only visual problem is it has no guages i was told that the ignition coil was bad so i replaced it then i realized it wasn't firing. we dont have a seadoo machanic for miles no one around here will even look at it. but ive read some of yalls forums and tried to figure some stuff out but haven't got anywhere it doesnt beep everytime i hook the key up but it does sometimes it gives two beeps but still no fire.anybody have any idea????????????
