Spraying Water

Greetings, folks...

Still learning about my '99 Challenger. Today, I noticed water spraying from the bends of both manifolds. I assume that this isn't by design?

Correct, the only built in leak occurs in a small volume around the driveshaft carbon seal for cooling purposes of the shaft while it's turning. It would be wise to remove those and see how bad the corrosion is once the area is cleaned up, good chance a trip to the weld shop can get you fixed up if it's not to bad yet.

It's a fairly large spray, on both sides. I'll keep my fingers crossed that they can be repaired... but I fear that I had better start looking for some replacements now.
 
They can be repaired it happens all the time, just have them tig welded.
