I tried to find a thread w/ my problem < could not < so , do some buddy knows why my sporster le
does bip when I put the kye on the ignition? It does not bip, but starts , just missing the bip.

Probably the beeper is broken, might find one for 12 volts at radio shack. Also check it's still connected, located in front of helm steering inside console.

On my sportster le the previous owner had jamed a screwdriver through the biper. Idiotic thing to do because it also sounds if the engine is overheating.
Took the revers biper of my snowmobile,work just fine
