I really like the 98-99 Sportster 1800, I was wondering if there are many problmes with these? I was also wondering why they are listed for so much, I looked up on nada and it says around $7000 but all the ones I have seen listed are like 10-11 thousand except one I found without a trailer for $8000.

Any help much appreciated

hi there 1999 sportster 1800 is a great boat i have it from so long and never had problems, very confortable .
only in big waves have some problems because the v don't cut much the waves
only no i have little electric problems but easely to solve.

I just bought a 1998 sportster 1800 for $6000. Great boat very quick and handles great but like firpo said when you hit some big waves you get bounced around pretty good.

Oh yeah I concur! I had some pretty big waves with my speedster this week end and it was insane... Kinda fun though

Whats the most you want to spend... I have a 2004 sporster 150 with the 4tec and i can say that they can take a s**t kicking, it has 65hrs and i paid $11,000 canadian pluse the dealer can tell you the boats full operating history with a laptop, for example my boat when i bought it had only hit 7000rpm .6% of the time on the 65hrs on the boat.
