Speedo, RPM, and Fuel gauge all not working, the backlighting is working though. I replaced the 2 amp fuse hoping it would be something simple and that didn't take care of it. I've scoured the forum and found some good tips others have thrown out there, but just curious, should the fuel gauge move when the power switch is turned on, key is pushed on, or started up? Right now it's stuck on Full all the time.

on my boat only the rpm and speedo activate with one full cycle when the key is plugged in. Fuel gauge never moves.

I had my Tac and Speedo stop working last summer. Almost paid to have them rebuilt. I asked the rebuild company if they were going to need the internal parts for rebuild they said, "No we just need the faceplate and needle". They take those parts and put them in a new gauge. So I took mine apart. the bezel was somewhat tough to get off but if you work carefully with a screwdriver you can get it done cleanly. After I had the gauges apart i cleaned everything concentrating on where the brass bolts go through the board. used wire brush on the bolts themselves. After this reassembled the entire assembly and they have been working great ever since.

Here is my post back when I did the work:

Update on what I found yesterday on the FUEL GAUGE.

Here is the pin out:
Purple = power
Black = ground
Pink and Pink/black = input
Blue = light

- I have 12V when the key is plugged in
- Back light works
- I have 5.7 ohms (I'm guessing I actually have less than half a tank of fuel)
- I took the gauge out (loose) when I plugged in the connector it would go full, when I unplugged it and tilted the gauge it would go empty, never anywhere in the middle.
- I took the bezel off and tried messing with the inards and no luck.
- I'm pretty sure my gauge is shot.

Thinking about getting one of Ebay. Looks like a brand new one at http://www.seadoopartshouse.com/ was over $200.
