Does anyone have any experience splitting the hull of a Speedster 200? I'm looking for details like how easily it comes apart/ goes back together, how much the top portion of the hull weighs for removal purposes etc. The reason I'm asking is last year I was going to dock my boat at the lake and noticed water dripping thru a crack near the port front bunks on the trailer. So naturally I cut a hole in the bottom of the boat to repair the cracking. Come to find out the core was rotten and there was a huge crack that butts up against the stringer in that location. The right/ best way to fix it would be from the inside but you can not get to the area with the top half of the boat in place because of the molded in ski locker. I could probably fix the area from the outside but it wont look good and I'm worried that the repair wont old up long term. Plus I figure that there's probably more areas in there that need repaired as well. I figure that I could cut a hole in the ski locker to get access or cut the whole locker out entirely but I'm not sure how that would affect the structural integrity of the boat. Any help on this sort of thing would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Zach
