I have an area where i have spider cracks in the fiberglass near the engine cover door. They are not deep. They almost look like they originate from the center of a spider web.

Does anyone know a way these can be filled and look close to new again without much expense?

thanks

If only the top layer has cracked that's good.
But check inside to be sure.
It will have to be sanded down to the gel-coat then primed and painted. use marine grade. go to www.colorrite.com and see if they match Seadoo paint colors. $17 for spray can of primer and about $34 for paint + shipping.
If the gel-coat is damaged then you'll need a fiberglass repair kit...at most auto part places.

It is not painted. It is gel cote. The gel cote repair kit is the way to go. Goto gelcote.com They sell the oem sea doo colors for like $50 after shipping. Or you could use a universal repair kit from somewhere else. It takes like 4 hours to do and 2 of that is waiting for it to dry. You need to chip away the gel cote around that spider web. You dont want a smooth surface. The new stuff will adhere better to a rough surface. I use a small old school pointy manual bottle opener to gouge out the area. Mix up the gel, fill it in with a small hobby paint brush. dont use too much or you will be sanding all day. Cover with wax paper and smooth out with a credit card. Wait 2 hours for it to dry, a heat gun will speed it up. Remove wax paper, sand smooth with 1000, then 1500 and finish with 2000. Buff with boat rubbing compound and wax. Will look good as new for about $75 for all supplies and 4 hours of time. Look on youtube, there are tons of videos.
