Looking for options to what you do for a winter cover for their boats. I have the factory mooring cover on my speedster 150 but I would think I should cover that.

Looking for those who store outside in Canadian Winter weather.

Any ideas or thoughts? Should I just shrink wrap it?

I am guessing this is not much of topic for most of you lucky ones living i the southern or south western US....

We live in Florida, so this isn't a concern for us, but I would think the shrink wrap would offer the best protection. At the very least I'd use the mooring cover and possibly a tarp thrown over the top of it.

I live near Niagara Falls, so I am familiar with snow. I would not use the mooring cover for snow protection, heavy snow will ruin it. Pay someone to shrink wrap it for the winter, or get the materials and do it yourself, or pay for indoor storage.

I’m in Keswick and I put the trailer cover in first with the poles inside, I then put a tarp on top of that and finish it off with a cheap 19-21 boat cover from Princess Auto. When I go to Florida in February I just take the 2 covers off and away I go.

We have the poppy cover, but I even put a cheap wal-mart cover over that in storage (we store ours indoors in a non-heated pole-barn). Giver her all the protection you can get when outdoors.
