Speedster Slow Cranking to start

Hello All - i am trying to help a friend with a 2009 speedster 150. For some reason when he goes to start it up it cranks very slow. It does seem to start for now but it is sounds like a bad starter in an older car how it kind of pauses between cranks.

Any one have any suggestions on if my line of thinking is correct?
I sure appreciate the help.

P.S. Anyone know where the starter is located or deal with taking one out to replace it?

make sure the battery is good and charged. have it load tested and fully charged.

Thanks for your help. Brand new battery and all connections are good. Any other suggestions?

I would recheck and clean all connections. Could be internal corrosion in the cables. Bend them and listen or feel crunchy sound. If not sounds like starter is draggin.
