I recently picked up 895 speedster with the 657X motors in it. I just got done rebuilding the carburetors and both motors with genuine Mikuni carb kit's replacing the needles and seats in off for carburetors. I took it out for a test run and I know the carburetors need to be adjusted but now my starboard side motor is have any pretty bad knock to it and reduced power could I have some damage on my lower end or what's going on here? Compression was 135 on the mag side, slowly dropping. And then 120 on the PTO side slowly dropping. The slowly dropping might be my tester itself, it's an old craftsman compression tester from about 25 years ago. I also replaced the spark plugs with brand new NGK br8es plugs. I can't seem to figure out how to attach pictures on this form yet anybody got any suggestions

If set to factory specs on carbs, and you DIDNT replace springs, then carbs should be fine...knock on bottom could be anything, possibly in the pump, resonating through
