Speedster Hull Integrity

Hey Everyone.....first post here. General question:

I have a 2007 Speedster 200 (430hp) and live in Knoxville, TN. The lakes are pretty much all connected by the TN River, so there's alot of boat traffic - big boats. I have hit a few wakes with my boat before realizing how big they were. The hull smacks down pretty hard against the surface if one sneaks up on me.

I've seen video of these crazy people actually using their Speedster to jump the wake of larger boats. So my question is about hull integrity. How much can that hull take before I have to worry about a crack? I try to take it easy and avoid big wakes, but some are unavoidable. Maybe I'm worrying too much? Thoughts?

These boats are meant to handle like a big jet ski. No worries mon. Mine is 13 years old and I've had the whole thing up out of the water jumping waves and it comes down hard. Never had a problem yet.

Well, that makes me feel a bit better then. A few of the wakes that we've hit off 40 ft SeaRay boats have nearly taken us out of the water......and that's with me killing the throttle and just riding the wave.

Unless there is a mechanical fracture(something hit it)on a seadoo.if you break it,get it on video. You will be the first to break one

His is the 20' boat though.

Even with that said... you can treat them pretty rough. I would jump my 14.5' Sportster higher than my skis.
