Speedster 215hp 2008, Synthetic Blend oil and ceramic washers

Hi,
I know its been discussed in other threads but I haven't all the info I after. I have read that in 2007/2008 Sea-doo may have changed the ceramic washers in the supercharger ?? How am I able to tell this, is there a HIN or Engine number that identifies the change. I ask mainly because the dealer sold me Synthetic Blend XPS oil even when I said it was supercharged. I then checked the owners manal and it says only use mineral oil.
Does anyone have any infor?

depending on when in 2008 your boat was manufactured....early year will still have the ceramic washers and late year will have the steel. Best is to pull the supercharger out and check!!

it is verysimple do not use synthetic oils of any kind blended or not does not matter which washers you have i have a 2009 255 and manual is very specific about not useing syntheyic oils just a good 10w;40 oil
