Hi guys

Brought a 2006 speedster 200 with 98hrs and just got it back after servicing the superchargers and it's ready to roll.

Since this is my first boat I have a few questions.

1. If one of the engines die, can I still use the other one but obviously limp back slowly ? Or must I get towed ?

2. How long do I need to flush the engines out once I'm back home ie 30sec or more ?

3. Do I need to spray anything on the engine after use ?

4. What are some of the more critical things I should check once I'm back on shore after a day out on the water ?

Cheers guys !

Congrats on the new boat.

To run on a single engine, or be towed you need to clamp off a water line. Does your boat have the closed loop cooling system? I forget what year that was added. If it does you can install shutoffs like a few of us have, or get a couple hose clamps.

NICE BOAT DUDE!!!![emoji1430]

You have 2 engines ? Yes you can use only one to get back.

When I went to Bahamas one engine wouldn't pull. So I ran back the last 10 miles on single engine very slowly as not to put to much stress on it. Once I got it up. It was some seaweed that got caught on the intake. Cleaned it off and she was Roaring again.
