Hey guys,
My boat has been running great for the last few months now. I would get a temp warning once in a while on the port engine. It would always restart and the warning would go off. I assume it was debris in the exhaust / j pipe.
Yesterday I had a fully loaded boat and I got the warning. It would run great, then the loud beep would sound worth the temp light. I let it cool off and restarted. Again it would show the warning after a minute or two.
I then let it cool and tried to restart. Nothing.
No click, no fuel pump prime on port engine. The starboard engine works fine and fires with up. I tried swapping engine start buttons and that doesn’t make a different. Where should I start troubleshooting? I checked all the fuses.. they are in good shape. I get two quick beeps... then I try to start he left engine and nothing.. then a loud solid beep until I pull the dss.
The port gauges work and go through their test when Dss is installed. But no click and no fuel pump noise. I assume some wiring got hot and messed something up. The oil looks good and the coolant is at the proper level.
Thoughts?
