Speedster 150 rear hood wont shut!!

Can anyone help me?? The rear hood where you gain access to the engine won't click and stay shut...

Did you try oiling the mechanism? Did you cable go bad and lock up?

This latch is adjustable. Looking at the pin, you'll see it's kinda pointed. That's because the receiver in the hood has a cup like part to it that helps direct it. Now, look at the base of that pin. You should see a nut. Look under the fiberglass and you'll see another nut and washer. Loosen this up and adjust the pin upwards. Only do this small bit at a time because you only want enough to make it fit, not so much it's always looks and sloppy......:cheers:

Hey mate thanks very much, but im a bit confused with all the pins and receivers etc. so ive taken some photos and hopefully that will be easier for you to guide me through it all??

Try turning the release pull T handle 90 degrees
