I'm planning to buy a new speedster 150 255hp 2009! Does anyone have info on the performance of this boat vs the speedster 215hp?

simply amazing piece of equipment!! you almost need to wear a helmet it's sooo fast! easy 60 mph!!!
got mine in october last year and have not looked back. make sure you maintain it properly and you will be fine.

255 HP Speedster

Sounds great and I almost purchased one myself, but after further review I decided with the 155 HP instead. We don't wake board or water ski so the extra HP would simply be "extra". The supercharger has to rebuilt every 100 hours at the cost of about 800-900 bucks. We boat year round here in Florida and 100 hours come quick. It requires an 92 octane for optimal performance and that means you're going to have to haul gas to your boat unless you have a marina that sells 92 octane or you sacrifice performance.
If you don't put a lot of hours on the boat per year and you don't mind hauling gas to the boat I too would prefer to have the extra HP,but I'm a guy and more power is always better.

I bought the 215 because the 250 wasn't available yet. Would have done it in a heart beat! Love my 215, just can't imagine what another 35 hp would do. YaaaaaHooooo!

i guess you are right but the performance is simply mind blowing and definitely worth the extra hassle of bringing your own gas and rebuilding the supercharger.

I finaly bought the 215 HP brand new 2008 version and what a boat. Great fun with it. Do you know any nice mods for performance?

Well I think if I change my boat I'll go with the speedster 200 510HP for more space. By the way, I live in Montreal Canada, do you have a quote for the speedster 255HP, I want to compare the price in US vs Canada! Maybe it could be interesting for me to buy in USA.

215HP reaches up to 58 miles - average depends to boat 55m.p.h- 255HP reaches 62 miles GPS - if it doesn't hurt to pay around 3.000 $$$ more you will get much more fun - but the 215 also goes very well - the 255 performance you see on the clock but you don't feel it as much as clock shows
