Just joined website & just bought a brand new 2009 Speedster 150 (255hp) with extended warranty, tower, and other stuff. Talked to dealer about issues with super charger and maintenance schedule. It appears the problem washers or super charger problems were fixed and the maintenance schedule for the super charger is every 200 hours ( according to manual). I would appreciate any “expert thoughts” on this. Also….how much fun is this “bad boy” going to be for me, wife, my son’s and their friends tearing it up in the Bayou Teche in Louisiana! What is the first thing I should buy/do and break in period. I have owned jet skis and boats for over 40 years but this is my first mini-jetboat. I always broke em in like I rode em...wide open. Thanks in advance

wow cowboy...

If you break-em in like you ride e'm then you'll void the warranty...
These are very reliable jet boats but don't give them a reason.

True Craig.............I've heard not doing a supercharger overhaul every 100 hrs voids the warranty!?!?

I'm in the process of having the engine pulled apart due to supercharger failure. I am just lucky it's on my dealer's bill, since I've not had a chance to put it in the water yet. Could of been anywhere from $1100 to needing new engine!!!

May have to rethink the break in procedure as several people have told me to follow the ten hour break in. I will verify the 100 hour SC rebuild.
