Speed Sensor support

I have a 96 speedster and have just picked up a new speed sensor but I have no support. It's not listed as per the dealer so my question is...
Can I still get this bracket or as the dealer sudjested attach it to the shoe??
Is there any were that I can get a used support?
If not, were to I install it to the shoe? L or R and location??

Any help would be great.

Sensor Support

looks like my boat did not have this support on it from new as ther are no holes at the rear, so I was wondering if there is a way to set it up on the shoe?
If not do I have to do anything special to install the support?

I thought The SeaDoo had a small hole and hose bib that was what was used for the speed sensor ?

Nothing like tha to mine.
I have seen on new units the sensor on the plate so just woundered if it so or if I have to use the support .

wierd cause I have a 95 and its mounted on the body between the jets
