Spectrum Color gelcoat repair kit.

I bought 2 of the black color kits to repair some chips in the gelcoat of my 2007 RXT that is black in color. I only used about 1/2 of one kit and am very happy with the results. Color match is perfect. Product is very easy to use as well.

Only regret is that I should have built it up more and then sanded smooth for a completely flawless repair. Pics are of 2 of 3 places I repaired.

Not bad at all honestly, how aggressive did you get with the sand paper after your repair to get back to factory gloss?

I wet sanded it by hand with 400 and then 800 grit.

I had some oxidation that I cleaned the entire ski of with a 3m brite pad. Then applied 3 coats of "Zepps Wet Look" commercial floor wax. (available from big box hard ware stores, Lowes etc.)
