Just about to make molds for my mirrors to house speakers a 3" and a 1" tweater can any one tell me if the mirrors changed big time from 2003 and 2008. wouldn't mind making a few more and selling them

These units definitely need speakers. not sure you'll hear them at high speeds, but useful at cruising for sure... let me know how it goes. I have no idea what changed from 03-08. I have an 08 GTX

Looks like I have good molds now. so anyone looking for speaker inserts to replace there mirrors please let me know. I will be putting 3" speakers 1" tweaters in these units with a tight mesh grate that is epoxy resined in there will look tight. And for the stereo it will be just a amp 6"x5"x2"high two channel putting out a wopping 50 watts per side hahahahahhaa there is a
MP3 plug in and a volume comtrol all water prof of coarse

Probably get more "hits", with posting pictures...

So I've been lurking around here for the past few months waiting for the right time to introduce myself and post something productive... Recently purchased an '07 SeaDoo GTI SE 155 and wanted some sounds as well.

I found a nice little system for about 80 bucks shipped on Ebay and I installed it using nothing but velcro. Using the velcro makes it completely removable in only a few seconds which is great when I really want to push it hard or in Choppy water... The speakers are listed as fully waterproof but I took no chances and went over them with clear silicone covering all the screw holes and wire holes... The Amp/Control unit is mounted in the glove compartment and the power wires run through the drain hole at the bottom to the battery. I plan on using the ski for fishing so my next purchase will be a second battery and an Isolator for those day where I'm just hanging out with the engine off.

The sound is crisp and clear and can get pretty loud but if your looking for quality low end, then look somewhere else because these are a lot like a good set of computer speakers but they fit the bill nicely.

Look for "Waterproof Motorcycle Speakers" on Ebay, The seller is "DannyCollection88"

I Currently have the speakers mounted with high strength velcro. It suits my needs. They can also be bolted on

any guess how long you could run it with the ski in the off position

cat-man

no idea yet, I'm afraid to test it, but I do plan on getting a second battery and installing an isolator so that I can run it as long as I'd like without draining the starter battery
