well somehow or another last weekend the gap on one of my plugs got pushed down......which is i quess a question in itself how that would happen but it cause the cylinder not to fire and i did what i could to adjust it where i was with the tools i had so i was wondering if anybody knew what the perfect gap would be

first off, did you have a problem so then you pulled the plugs? is there no plug gap on the one like it is touching itself?

correct......i started bogging down so i pulled the plugs and the left cylinder(if your on the lefthand side of the ski) was all the way down with no gap so i adjusted it as best as i could and it ran fine after that

well we can assume they where not installed like that because it would not have run right that way, so that happened while the plug was in the head. I would try a compression check and make sure that is ok, but with what happened is common at times when there is a failure for the piston to come up to far and slap the bottom of the plug.....however on that same note it may be possible that the wrong plugs where installed and are to long for the head to piston clearance, there is a few different things that could have happened. First have you milled/shaved your head or cylinders? if not then we can presume everything is stock? Then we need to make sure your plugs are correct for your motor? if they are then in best interest if it where me I would pull the head and check for damage, matter of fact as a pre look into pull the plug and look with a flashlight down into the hole inspecting the piston, look for a clean mark where it would have slapped the piston......tell us what you find

everything is stock except for an air filter

the plugs are ngk br8es i dont know if those are right or not however this was the first time it has done this

and dont have a flaslight right now ill go look for one and get back on looking into the cylinder
