Spark seat won’t dry out

A few weeks ago my 3up spark overturned and it was uprighted within 20 seconds. About an hour later it overturned again and was uprighted in about 10 second. Everything runs well but the seat feels like it’s water logged. The reason I think that is it weighs twice as much as my 2up spark seat. I don’t remember it weighing much more than the 2up seat. I have had it airing out in warm weather both indoor and outdoor propped up so air can circulate around it. Has anyone had the same issue and if so, how did you resolve it? Or maybe the 3up is way heavier. Thanks

Not sure this helps but the seat being heavy is one of the things you look for when buying a used ski to see if it was submerged. I guess it's really hard to get the water out of the foam cells.

Maybe try one of those vacuum seal bags and a wet vac.

Sit on it with the ski seat on dry land...does water squeeze out of the seat? Might have to undo the seat cover a bit and prop it up in a corner and let gravity do its thing......water will migrate out over time or you can help it along with pressure (rubber banding, etc).....to squeeze the seat....get creative.

Thanks Ckrawiec. No water squeezed out when sitting on it back when it was heavy. I’ve had it propped up allowing air to circulate under and around it for the past couple of months and it has finally dried out.

Yeah, seems really odd that Seedoo would use a foam padding that really hangs onto the water....its always a fine line toss up between COST - Performance - Comfort. Glad to hear its dry again!
