recheck the connection/s and ground/s, then cut wire back 1/4in from boots. See if that helps, if not, may need new coil...

I have tried to cut the wire back, and the connections Ive checked and rechecked. I took another coil out of another ski with no change.

sounds like the mpem may be blown due to someone trying to jump start it. there is a guy on here that fixes them. hopefully someone will chime in with his name for you or do a search for mpem and see what comes up.

I pulled the MPEM out of another ski and that did not fix it. Yes like an idiot I jump started it last week. I charged the battery this week and it ran fine for about ten minutes and then no spark. I am new to the skis so I don know much just what I have learned from working on it and this forum. The weird thing is that it does not blow any fuses. What does the stator assy look like? :ack:

its in the flywheel housing, behind the flywheel. its a disc look'n thing, with a charging coil and igniting coil mounted to it. The wires coming from the housing, is from the stator assy...

When I tested the wires coming from the flywheel every thing seemed to test good. Is there somthing I am missing?

jet..recheck the volts at battery, not running, then if wont fire, hook to vehicle, not running, and jump it. if fires, then disconnect, see if stays, then recheck battery for volts, should be above 14v. If not, then rectifier bad.

When I test the battery it test's 12.5 volts. Hooked to another ski with out it running and still no spark out of the spark plugs. I pulled the other computer off of a ski that had a blown motor maybe that computer is bad also. Do they go bad with out blowing the fuses. I read that it could be a faulty rev limiter also...
