Spark plugs?

I wouldn't run anything but an NGK in a 2 stroke. As far as the gap, there "should" be a Engine Emission placard in on the fiberglass under the hatch area that should list the exact plug and gap. It is at least on my Rotax powered boat and I would assume that it needs to be there for the "emissions police" when it was built.

I think the NGK BPZ8HS-10 is the plug for the Merc's with a gap or 0.040" or 1.0mm

Um, my boat is a year older and it has one. Wait, I think it has 2 since it's a twin engine. Either way, I think that is the correct info you needed.

Thanks for the quick responses. Runs like a champ now. I think 3 seasons on the plugs were too much. That and the new impeller and stainless wear ring from impros, this boat is fun again.

Awesome. I am a new owner and have some work ahead of me so I upgraded to premium member to get he manuals. Definitely worth it for those alone.
