Spark plugs won't fit

I'm trying to change the spark plugs on my 2007 RXT215, The spark plugs I'm getting dcpr8e ngk 4339 (which what I keep finding is the right one) have something on top that makes them not fit my ignition coil (see pic, the left is new one right is what I pulled out) do I need to remove the thing up top to make it fit? Or is this the wrong spark plug somehow? I Checked like four different places they all mention this one...

Unscrew the small piece on the end in the same direction you would unscrew a nut.
This will expose the post inside it.
