Spark plug ??? with pics

I thought the plugs were suppose to be set at .022

How does this effect the performance of the ski? (1996 xp) Here is a pic of the plugs: TIA

Reset....

When you buy your plugs from your local auto parts store, they are preset. This doesn't mean they are correct. It is the users responsibility to always check your plugs and gap them as necessary.

When you remove the plug and lay it on your workbench to do, oh say, a compression test. Then, before you put those plugs back in, you need to check them. It takes the lightest tap on the end of the electrode to change that gap.

Most auto part stores keep the gapping tools, right at the register.
